Frequently asked questions
Short answers about Rulebook, the AI work agent for revenue teams: what it does, which tools it works with, how it checks its work and how you can try it.
What is Rulebook?
Rulebook is the AI work agent for revenue teams. It turns what your team says in meetings, Slack and email into work done in your CRM, inbox and documents, with proof for every change. How Rulebook works.
How does Rulebook make sure action items from meetings get done?
Rulebook reads the meeting transcript and finds each action item, with the exact quote. Each item gets an owner, a plan and, when someone said one, a due date. The owner approves the plan, Rulebook does the work in the tool and then reads the result back from the tool. The work is done only when the result matches. Read the blog post.
Where does Rulebook find work?
In meeting transcripts, in Slack request channels and direct messages, in inbound email and in the regular tasks that your playbooks give a schedule, for example a usage summary before each renewal call.
Does Rulebook work with HubSpot and Salesforce?
Yes. Rulebook updates deals and reads quotes in HubSpot and in Salesforce, and it checks each change in the CRM. We checked both live on real accounts in October 2026. See all integrations.
Does Rulebook change anything without approval?
By default, Rulebook asks the owner before it changes a record in a tool. An admin can remove this approval for internal changes. It always asks a person before it sends an email to your customers or does a legal or financial step. A draft that stays inside your team, such as a one-pager in your Google Drive, can run without an approval.
How does Rulebook stop AI from making up facts?
Rulebook copies facts from their sources first, and the model writes only the words. Fixed code checks each number, price, date and name, and a second model checks the meaning of each claim. A fact with no source never goes out: the text says "Unknown: needs a human" in its place. See the test results.
How do I know that the work is done?
Rulebook reads each change back from the tool before it marks the work as done. Each run keeps a receipt with the quote, the plan, the approval and each check.
Which meeting tools does Rulebook work with?
