Terms of service

Last updated: October 18, 2026

These terms apply to the use of Rulebook and of getrulebook.com. Rulebook is operated by Abhishek Humney, Bengaluru, India ("we"). Rulebook is in early development. A customer that uses Rulebook may also have a written agreement with us; if that agreement and these terms do not agree, the written agreement applies.

1. The service

Rulebook finds the work in a customer's meetings, playbooks and requests, plans it, asks a person to approve the steps that need an approval, does it in the customer's tools and keeps a record with proof. During the pilot, features can change, and some features are not available yet.

2. Accounts and connections

The customer decides who in the company uses Rulebook and which tools Rulebook can use. Each user keeps the sign-in to the account safe. The customer can remove Rulebook's access to a tool at any time in that tool.

3. Your data

The customer owns its data. We use it only to provide Rulebook to the customer, as the privacy policy describes. We do not sell it.

4. AI output and approvals

Rulebook uses AI models. AI output can be wrong. Rulebook shows the source of each fact, marks a fact without a source as "Unknown: needs a human". By default, Rulebook asks a person to approve a step that changes a record in a tool, and the customer's admin can remove this approval for internal changes. Rulebook always asks a person before it sends an email to the customer's contacts or does a legal or financial step. The person who approves a step, and the customer, are responsible for what they approve, send or publish.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Rulebook to:

6. Other services

Rulebook works with services of other companies, such as Google, Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce and Notion. Their terms apply to the use of their services. We are not responsible for a change or an outage of another company's service.

7. Fees

The pilot is free unless a written agreement says otherwise. We tell a customer before any fee starts.

8. No warranty

During the pilot, Rulebook is provided "as is". We work to make it correct, available and secure, but we do not promise that it is free of errors or always available.

9. Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, from the use of Rulebook during the pilot.

10. Ending the use

A customer can stop using Rulebook at any time. We can stop a pilot with notice. When the use ends, we delete the customer's data as the privacy policy describes.

11. Changes

When we change these terms, we update the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we tell customers before the change takes effect.

12. Governing law

The laws of India apply to these terms. The courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, have jurisdiction.
